Golf takes pride of place at Fancourt, and deservedly so. All of the estate’s 18-hole golf courses - Montagu, Outeniqua and The Links - have garnered praise from the international golfing community and their fairways attract players from all corners of the world. Montagu and Outeniqua, both sprawling parkland courses, are ranked number six and sixteen in the country respectively, while Scottish links-inspired course The Links takes pride of place at number one. The courses are managed by professional golfers Tyronne Farrell (The Links) and Neil Walsh-Tucker (Montagu and Outeniqua) under the guidance of General Manager Lloyd Martindale.
